| | A Federal Foreign Office Spokesperson issued the following statement today (23 October 2024) on the terrorist attack in Turkey: | | | |  | | We are greatly saddened by the appalling terrorist attack in Ankara. We condemn in the strongest possible terms all forms of terrorism. We want to reaffirm our solidarity with Turkey. Our thoughts are with the families of the victims. To those who have been injured we wish a full and speedy recovery. Our Embassy in Ankara and the Federal Foreign Office Crisis Response Centre in Berlin are closely monitoring the situation as it continues to develop.
