Another Murder on the Streets of America by Untrained ICE Thugs Following Trump’s Racist Hate Filled Immigration Policy of Deliberate Cruelty

We begin with the latest murder on the streets of America by untrained ICE thugs who are gung ho wannabe warriors dressed up in military kit funded by surplus billions of taxpayer money allocated by Republicans at the expense of drastic cuts to healthcare and nutritions programs. They are not bad apples but are following the orders of the hatemongers in the White House; Stephen Miller, Donald Trump and Mark Wayne Mullen in a deliberate strategy to get us used to Trump’s Gestapo coming to your neighborhood soon. Yesterday in Maine a 26 year old man who was here legally and was not the target of ICE, was shot five times, his lifeless body was dragged out of his car then he was handcuffed while his wife nearby wailed that her daughter had lost her father as her little daughter in her Bluey pajamas who witnessed the bloody brutal end of her father’s life, wept uncontrollably. Joining us to discuss what Trump plans to say in his address to the nation on Thursday and his immigration policy of deliberate cruelty fueled by hatred and racism is Wendy Via, the President and Co-Founder of the Global Project Against Hate and Extremism. Her work focuses on the effects of extremism on our society, systemic racism, economic inequality, immigration and criminal justice reform. Previously she was the Chief Communications and Development Officer at the Southern Poverty Law Center.

The Political Landscape in Israel Ahead of Elections With Not Much Difference Between Netanyahu and His Rivals

Then we look into the recent harassment of a US congressman by Israeli West Bank settlers and assess the political landscape in Israel ahead of elections where there is not a lot of difference between Netanyahu and his rivals who are not that far to the left of the longest-serving PM because there is not much of a left left in a country hardened by the brutal Hamas attack of October 7, 2023. Joining us is Mitchell Plitnick, the president of ReThinking Foreign Policy and former vice president at the Foundation for Middle East Peace. A political analyst and frequent writer on the Middle East and U.S. Foreign Policy, he served as director of the U.S. Office of B’Tselem and co-director of Jewish Voice for Peace. He is the co-author of Except for Palestine: The Limits of Progressive Politics and has an article at Mondoweiss, “The U.S. war of choice against Iran has now become the War of Hormuz.”
