Secretary Blinken Travels to London

Secretary Blinken and UK Foreign Secretary Cleverly speak from two podiums.

On June 20-21, Secretary Blinken traveled to London to attend the Ukraine Recovery Conference to help mobilize international support from the public and private sector to help Ukraine recover from Russia's brutal and ongoing attacks. While there, the Secretary also met with counterparts from the United Kingdom, Ukraine, and other partners and allies. "Pleased to see so many allies, partners, and businesses come together to support Ukraine's recovery from Russia's war. A just and lasting peace will be forged not only through Ukraine's long-term military strength, but also the strength of its economy, democracy, and people," Secretary Blinken on Twitter. The United States intends to provide an additional $1.31 billion in assistance to help Ukraine recover from Russia's ongoing assaults on the country.
