Secretary Blinken Travels to London On June 20-21, Secretary Blinken traveled to London to attend the Ukraine Recovery Conference to help mobilize international support from the public and private sector to help Ukraine recover from Russia's brutal and ongoing attacks. While there, the Secretary also met with counterparts from the United Kingdom, Ukraine, and other partners and allies. Our countries stand united on mobilizing support for Ukraine's economic and humanitarian recovery from Russia's brutal war of aggression," Secretary Blinken on Twitter. Ukraine Recovery Conference "Pleased to see so many allies, partners, and businesses come together to support Ukraine's recovery from Russia's war. A just and lasting peace will be forged not only through Ukraine's long-term military strength, but also the strength of its economy, democracy, and people," Secretary Blinken on Twitter. The United States intends to provide an additional $1.31 billion in assistance to help Ukraine recover from Russia's ongoing assaults on the country.
