U.K. Will Recognize Palestinian Statehood in September, Barring Israel-Hamas Cease-Fire
Prime Minister Keir Starmer of Britain said his country would make the move unless Israel agrees to a cease-fire with Hamas, pressuring Israel to halt a war that has put Gaza on the brink of famine.
