Vice President Kamala Harris spoke today with Chancellor Olaf Scholz of Germany and thanked him for his partnership throughout the Biden-Harris Administration. The Vice President underscored the vital importance of the U.S.-Germany Alliance in addressing global challenges, from economic growth to global stability and security, and for standing for democratic principles around the world. The Vice President expressed appreciation for the Chancellor’s personal leadership to support Ukraine following Russia’s unprovoked invasion.
