| Britain to stop exporting some arms to Israel | Around 30 licenses for the export of arms to Israel out of 350 will be affected, David Lammy has announced.
The decision was made under the strategic export licensing criteria, which bans the export of items if there is a risk of them being used for violation of humanitarian law in the areas of humanitarian provision and access, treatment of detainees, and prosecution of military campaigns. Forming an official grouping should increase the MPs’ chances of being allocated questions and speaking slots in the Commons. |
