Dear reader,
Today, we look at how things are currently shaping up inside Syria.
As our author Alon Ben-Meir points out in this new Strategic Assessment Memo (SAM), the stunning victory of the Syrian rebels opens up new possibilities for a peaceful Syria and potentially Middle East.
Alternatively, things in Syria could also devolve to set the stage for further intense violence, death and destruction – not just inside Syria, but also the entire Middle East.
Today’s feature follows up on my own recent article on After Assad: The Hopeful Global Scenario, which may also pique your interest if you haven’t already read it.
Cheers, Stephan Richter Publisher and Editor-in-Chief |
