Attributable to Pentagon Press Secretary Brig Gen Pat Ryder:

"The Department strongly condemns the terrorist attack that

 took place today in Jerusalem that killed at least seven

 innocent civilians. We send our deepest condolences to the

 families of the victims who were killed and wish a rapid

 recovery to all of the wounded. We are in close contact with our

 Israeli partners and stand firmly with them in the face of this

 attack."
