Turkey yesterday sent military reinforcements into the Idlib governorate, northwest of Syria after two of its soldiers were killed and three others were injured in the area.

Local sources said a Turkish military convoy including armoured vehicles, concrete blocks, and prefabricated guards as well as logistical and medical equipment entered Idlib province through the Kafr Lossin border crossing, north of Idlib, and.

Russian warplanes recently bombed the Jabal Al-Zawiya area, south of Idlib, and the vicinity of Darat Izza in Aleppo's western countryside, while one of the raids targeted the outskirts of a Turkish point in the town of Al-Bara.

Russia accuses Turkey of not fully implementing the ceasefire agreement. A claim was denied by Ankara.

Earlier on Saturday, Turkish Defence Minister Hulusi Akar said that his country adheres to the agreements signed with Russia and expects its partners to do the same.
