The Washington Post Breaking News November 9, 2023 : Israel agrees to daily 4-hour fighting pauses in northern Gaza to allow for civilian evacuations, White House says
Israel has agreed to the pauses to allow more civilians to move south and facilitate an increase in humanitarian aid entering from Egypt, the White House said Thursday. Israeli statements made no mention of an agreement for daily pauses of a particular length.
