Before getting into the car, Trump greeted his daughter Ivanka and then spoke with her husband Jared Kushner and special envoy Steve Witkoff, who welcomed him on his arrival.

Israel: Red Cross on its way to recover other hostages
The Red Cross is again on its way to recover more Israeli hostages in Gaza, the Israeli army reports, after the first seven hostages were returned by Hamas this morning.
The Red Cross is now reportedly on its way back to the Gaza Strip to retrieve more survivors. "According to the information received, the Red Cross is on its way to a further rendezvous point in the southern Gaza Strip, where several hostages will be handed over to the Red Cross," the IDF (Israel Defence Forces) announced on their Telegram channel.

"We are ready to contribute to the success" of the peace plan for Gaza "with all the instruments at our disposal In particular, by providing support for the governance and reform of the PNA. Germany: Arab states pressure Hamas to disarm
Qatar, Egypt, Turkey and other Arab states are putting pressure on Hamas in Gaza to accept disarmament in order to support the continuation of peace negotiations with Israel, the German foreign minister announced.

al Jazeera: second phase hostage release to begin at 10am (9am Italian time)
The second phase of the release of the Israeli hostages still alive following the 7 October attacks will begin at 10 a.m. local time (9 a.m. Italian time) in the south of the Gaza Strip, Arab satellite TV al Jazeera reported.
Earlier, seven people kidnapped by Hamas in Gaza City in the north of the Strip were released. The Palestinian Islamic fundamentalist movement is expected to release a total of twenty hostages this morning.

Gaza hostages: Idf chief of staff thanks army
The chief of staff of the IDF (Israel Defence Forces), Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir, held an evaluation with senior officers at the military headquarters for hostages and missing persons, on the occasion of the release of seven hostages. Hamas handed them over to the Red Cross, which will later transfer them into the hands of the Israeli army.
Zamir 'expressed his appreciation to all the organs of the IDF for their thorough preparation and emphasised the importance of maintaining a high level of readiness and alertness,' reads an army statement.
